How did we come to olive oil? Thanks to olive
We discovered Istria and its culinary treasures thanks to our dog Olive. Once a street dog, she has enriched our lives and inspired us to make many trips to this magical region. Through her we discovered our passion for the delicious olive oil of Istria and made many new friends. Hence the name "House of Olive"!
From roots to passion: Istria's olive oil
Welcome to House of Olive! We are Jassi & Rada. We live in Zurich and both have our roots in different regions of the Balkans! We have found our "happy place" in Istria. The breathtaking coasts, the picturesque mountain towns, the idyllic nature and the warmth of the people touched our hearts from the very first moment! This is how we decided to found House of Olive to share our passion for the region, its people and culture and, of course, its delicious olive oil with you!

We rely on high quality extra virgin olive oil from sustainable cultivation.
It is produced and controlled according to strict quality standards to ensure premium product quality.
The olive oil comes from olive groves that are cultivated according to organic principles. We attach great importance to the protection of natural resources such as soil, water and biodiversity.
Our producers are small family businesses that preserve a centuries-old tradition of Istrian olive oil. For them, olive growing is more than just farming - it is their way of life and their natural vocation.
Our concern
Our concern is to obtain the olive oil directly from these producers with whom we maintain personal and friendly relationships. We attach great importance to social responsibility and rely on mutual trust, support and transparency throughout the value chain.
